María José has been my son's most influential teacher.  She brings to her studio a unique combination of rigorous classical training, passion for her craft, skill at connecting with her students, and a deep humility.  It is clear she respects her students, no matter their ability, and individualizes her approach to each.  María José always found music that inspired my son, launching his passion for piano in so many ways!
